China's energy storage net news: recently, Tunisia is planning to build a new type of solar power station, which fully embodies the country in the hope of renewable energy projects in response to the domestic electricity demand rapid increase.
In early August, TuNur, a British solar company, submitted a proposal to the energy ministry and the renewable energy department to build a 4.5-gigawatt solar power plant in southern Tunisia.
If it is allowed to operate and operate normally, its electricity will be enough to supply 5 million European households and 7 million electric vehicles, making it one of the world's largest solar energy facilities.
According to the government of Tunisia, the share of renewable energy in domestic energy demand will reach 30 per cent by 2030 (currently only 6 per cent).
Through government and private funding, renewable energy facilities are expected to generate 4.7 gigawatts of electricity by 2030.
In Tunisia, the development of renewable energy has been widely supported and industry insiders have stressed the need to build more infrastructure to support its development.
